COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Policy
Updated October 24, 2022
Port Huron ENT has enacted temporary visitor restrictions and masking policies for patients and staff. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will update this policy accordingly.
Patient Visitors:
- Only staff, patients, and a maximum of 1 support person will be permitted to enter the office. If you rely on another person for transportation, they may wait in their vehicle during the appointment.
- One visitor is permitted to accompany a patient only to help facilitate care or treatment, such as a parent of a child, or an individual assisting the patient with a wheelchair, walking or other care/support (visitor must not be ill or show symptoms of illness).
- No minor visitors (under age 18) are allowed unless the minor is the patient.
- Masks are optional
Allergy Patients:
If you have a fever or a cough, do not enter the allergy clinic. Keep a minimum of 6′ distance between you and other patients. If the clinic gets too full, we may seat you in another area of the office or ask that you wait outside until we can maintain proper physical distancing.
Your Appointments:
If you have a fever, respiratory symptoms or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks, we ask that you call to reschedule your appointment. We can help guide you to a place for viral testing if deemed necessary. At this time, we are not testing in our office.
These restrictions and guidelines are similar to those implemented at practices, hospitals, and health systems across the country to protect the public, our patients and caregivers, and prevent the spread of illness.
